Our in-house staff includes registered, professional transportation engineers; IBEW/IMSA certified Level I, II, and III traffic signal technicians and electricians; and LED experts.
Republic’s traffic signal laboratories provides a full range of technical services including complete controller/cabinet testing, controller repair, and conflict monitor/CMU testing and certification. With offices and maintenance yards across the United States, we currently provide service to more than 180 public agencies and over 100 commercial organizations.
Since 1998, Republic ITS has purchased and installed over 400,000 light emitting diode (LED) traffic signal retrofit kits in more than 100 public agencies…more LED's than any entity in the United States, public or private. By complementing our in-house expertise and infrastructure with strategic business alliances, Republic ITS has synergistically integrated the LED traffic signal lamp retrofit process from purchasing the lamps, to installation, to financing, to support after the sale. In other words, we are able to provide turn-key LED retrofit projects to public agencies that truly make financial sense for taxpayers and their trustees, public government.
